Est. 2014 — Riverside, CA

A Garage Built on Obsession.

Tinted Windows started as two friends, one bay, and a refusal to ship work that wasn't perfect. A decade later we're still that — just with better lifts, a louder shop, and a few thousand more cars on the road with our signature look.

Our Story

From a two-post lift to a 6,000 sq ft shop.

Marcus Vega and Devon Reyes met at a late-night car meet in the parking lot of a closed autozone in 2013. Marcus had been tinting windows out of his garage for three years; Devon ran a mobile install business that focused on clean wiring and OEM-grade audio. They kept running into the same problem: customers wanted both, done right, by people who actually cared.

In the spring of 2014 they signed a lease on a 1,200 sq ft bay off Route 91. One lift, one plotter, one soldering station. The first month they tinted fourteen cars and finished zero audio jobs because they kept pulling wiring apart to do it cleaner. Word got around. By 2018 they'd outgrown the original bay twice. Today the shop sits on six bays, a dedicated acoustic build room, and a wall of customer photos we still update by hand.

The original two-post lift, 2014. Still in the shop.
What We Stand For

Three rules, repeated on every job.

We don't have a forty-page manifesto. The crew knows these by heart. If a job can't pass all three, it doesn't leave the bay.

01 — PRECISION

Edges you can run a fingernail across.

A tint job lives or dies at the edge. We pattern-cut with a Graphtec plotter, hand-finish every corner, and won't hand back a car with a single visible lift, dust speck, or finger line in the glass. If you find one, bring it back within 30 days and we re-do the panel free.

02 — SIGNAL

Audio that sounds like the artist intended.

OEM head units, aftermarket decks, factory amps — we tune for clean voltage, proper time alignment, and zero clipping. No rattling. No muddy mid-bass. We measure with an oscilloscope, not a guess, and we walk every customer through their system before they drive off.

03 — INTEGRITY

Honest quotes, no upsell theater.

If a cheaper film will hold up on your daily, we'll tell you. If your factory speakers are fine and just need a tune, we say so. We'd rather lose a sale today and see you back in two years for the next project than sell you something you don't need.

By the Numbers

A decade of clean installs.

Every stat is a real number from our shop log. We track every install, every warranty claim, and every repeat customer. The data is the data.

The Timeline

A short history of getting better.

2014

Bay 01 opens.

1,200 sq ft, one lift, fourteen cars the first month. Marcus learns that a clean hand-cut takes three times longer than a sloppy one. He charges for it anyway.

2017

First shop expansion.

Three more bays, a dedicated acoustic build room, and the first Graphtec plotter on the Westside. Wait list for tint appointments hits six weeks.

2020

Ceramic & PPF added.

Full front-end paint protection and ceramic coatings become a third pillar. Hired two more techs and brought in an ex-Suntek factory trainer to run the line.

2024

New flagship build.

6,000 sq ft, six active bays, a customer lounge with a real espresso machine. Same rule still applies: if the edge isn't perfect, the job isn't done.

"Took my '22 WRX in for full ceramic and a stage 2 audio build. The wiring looked like factory. Three months in, the tint still looks like glass. I won't go anywhere else."
— Jordan M., repeat customer since 2019
"They told me my factory speakers were fine and just needed a real tune. Saved me about $1,400. That's the only shop I trust now."
— Priya S., 2023 customer
The Crew

The hands behind the work.

Eight full-time techs, two founders still in the bay every week, and a shop dog named Otto who runs quality control on every install.

Co-Founder · Tint Lead

Marcus Vega

13 years tinting. Suntek and 3M certified. Pattern-cuts every exotic that rolls in. Drives a silver E46 M3 with too much negative camber.

DR
Co-Founder · Audio Lead

Devon Reyes

MECP Master certified, ex-Pioneer reference installer. Builds every sub enclosure in-house. Spent a summer in 2018 tuning a single E30 for eight weeks. Worth it.

LC
Ceramic & PPF Lead

Lena Cho

Trained at the Suntek factory in San Diego. Runs the paint protection bay and trains new techs on proper prep. Counts to 100 on every panel wipe-down. Every single time.

OT
Shop Dog · QC

Otto

Australian Shepherd, 4 years on the team. Sits under the install bay and barks at any car that doesn't sound right at idle. Has never been wrong. Treats provided.

Come Through

Pull in. Look around. Ask anything.

The shop is open six days a week and we're always down to talk shop — even if you're just at the early-research stage. Coffee's on, Otto's friendly, and the espresso machine is the one thing in the building nicer than our lifts.
